Title: Study on the rise and fall process and influencing factors of the southern route in the middle section of the silk road

Lecturer profile:

Shi Zhilin received a doctor's degree in Chinese history from the Institute of Dunhuang Studies, School of History and Culture, Lanzhou University. His supervisor is Professor Zheng Binglin. Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in geography at Lanzhou University. His co-supervisors are Academician Chen Fahu and Professor Dong Guanghui. He mainly engaged in the study of Northwest historical geography and environmental archaeology. He has published 37 papers independently or cooperatively in Journal of Chinese Historical GeographyHistorical GeographyAgricultural History of ChinaJournal of Dunhuang studiesQuaternary InternationalActa Geologica SinicaGeophysical Research Letters and so on, and will soon publish one translation. He presided over one youth project of NSFC and two other projects, participated in a number of National Key R & D Plans, National Science and Technology Support Plans, Key Projects of National Social Science Fund, and Major Projects of National Social Science Fund.
