Jiang Kejun, Researcher at the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, Visiting professor at Peking University and Doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Technology. His research interests are energy and environment system analysis, and his current main research is focused on model application, forecasting and scenario analysis of future energy and greenhouse gas emissions, and evaluation of greenhouse gas emission control countermeasures and regional environmental countermeasures. Since 1998, he has been involved in the development of emission scenarios for IPCC and is a member of the Scientific Steering Committee of the International Integrated Assessment Model Committee.He has been involved in IPCC work since IPCC Second Assessment Report, convening author of Chapter 6 of Working Group III of the Fifth Assessment Report, and author of the synthesis report, convening author of Chapter 2 of the IPCC 1.5°C Special Report, and lead author of Chapter 3 of Working Group III of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report. As the project leader, he has participated in more than a dozen related research works, completed more than 80 research reports independently or in cooperation, published more than 100 papers, 8 papers in Science and Natural subjournals, and received 6 second and third prizes of scientific and technological progress from the State Planning Commission.
