Professor Siliang Li is a professor at Tianjin University, specializing in watershed biogeochemical cycles and ecological environmental effects. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the Excellent Young Scientists Fund. Professor Li serves on the expert panel for agricultural non-point source pollution control and supervision under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and he is the chairman of the 10th Professional Committee of Surface and Biogeochemistry. A member of the Chinese Geographical Society and the vice-chairman of the Tianjin Geographical Society, Professor Li has been honored as the "17th Hou Defeng Young Scientist in Mineralogy, Petrology, and Geochemistry." He serves as the guest editor-in-chief for the special issue of the international top-tier journal Agric Ecosyst Environ and is an editorial board member of Frontiers in Water and Acta Geochimica. Professor Li has published over 200 papers in prestigious journals such as GCA, EST, and Nature Communications, co-authored three monographs, and has been listed in Stanford University’s annual "Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide." His H-index in the Google Scholar database is 46.
