Reporter Profile:

Researcher Li Zhen is a distinguished researcher and PhD supervisor at the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His extensive work includes advanced microwave remote sensing and snow and ice remote sensing. His focus has been on the interaction mechanisms between microwaves and terrestrial targets, radar image processing methods, and the remote sensing inversion of snow and ice parameters. He has led over 30 research projects in this area, sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation, the 863 and 973 Programs, the National Key R&D Program, and the National Fundamental Resources Investigation. He has authored more than 200 publications, including over 80 in SCI-indexed journals, and five monographs. His contributions have earned him two National Science and Technology Progress Awards and five provincial science and technology awards. Additionally, he holds more than 20 software registrations and patents.
