Lecturer profile
Li Zhongqin is the director of Xinjiang Tianshan Glacier National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station, the Chinese correspondent of the World Glacier Monitoring Service (WGMS), and the co-director of the Glacial Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Cryosphere Science (Preparation). He has long been engaged in glacial studies and has made important achievements in the study of glaciology in continental and arid regions. He won the fourth prize of the National Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Gansu Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first prize of Natural Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published 368 papers in academic journals, including 134 SCI papers, and 8 monographs. He has won more than 20 scientific and technological awards and honorary titles, including outstanding Communist Party members of Gansu Province, ten outstanding young people from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhu Liyuehua Outstanding Teacher Award.
