Pei Tao, researcher, doctoral supervisor, and deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Resources and Environmental Information System, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences was in charge of Geographic Big Data Mining and Pattern Discovery,one of the national key R&D projects. He also presided over more than 30 projects related to the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the National 863 program, the National 973 program, etc. Besides, he was selected into the National Hundred and Thousand Talents Project, won the honor of “the Rising Star of Beijing Science and Technology”, Lu Jiaxi Youth Talent Award, and the 11th National Youth Geographic Technology Award. His main research interests include geographic data mining, multivariate time-space statistics, urban computing, etc.
