Liang Eryuan is a Researcher at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Director of the Center for Alpine Ecology and Human Adaptation. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a leader in the National Ten Thousand Talent Program, an outstanding member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association CAS, and the Chairman of the Alpine Ecology Committee of the Ecological Society of China. His main research focus is on the patterns and processes of alpine ecosystems. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 70 SCI papers in journals including PNAS, Nature Ecology & Evolution, National Science Review, Nature Communications, Ecology, and Global Change Biology.
