Expert Profile:
Gao Linlin is an associate researcher in College of Earth and Environmental Sciences of Lanzhou University, mainly engaged in the research of tree annual rings and global climate change, forest ecology and hydrology. She has published 35 research papers, presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated in the National Key Research and Development Program and other projects as a research backbone. She has participated in the writing of six monographs, including "Qilian Mountains Ecological Green Book" and "Qilian Mountains Ecosystem Security and Adaptive Management". She was awarded the Second Prize of the Sixth Gansu Provincial University Young Teachers Teaching Competition in 2023; Outstanding Supervisor of Lanzhou University Thesis (Design) in 2022; Outstanding Supervisor of National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program in Lanzhou University in 2021. From September 2013-September 2015, she went to the College of Forestry of Oregon State University for two years of joint training; in February 2017, she led the students to Japan to carry out the "Cherry Blossom Plan" exchange program.
Event Overview:
In this seminar, Ms. Gao Linlin will share her study, research, and life experiences in the United States, as well as give a detailed introduction to the "Sakura Program" exchange program in Japan, focusing on the challenges of study and life that students may face when entering a new environment during their study abroad period, as well as how to seek breakthroughs, seize opportunities, and achieve new growth. We hope to help students open up new horizons, design and plan their future with an open mind and a broad perspective, increase their experience, improve their ability, and gain happiness and development.
