Reporter Profile:
Zhong Xinyue specializes in snow climatology. She has led several projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology's Basic Resources Investigation Special Project, and subtopics of the Third Xinjiang Comprehensive Scientific Expedition. She was awarded the Shi Yafeng Cryosphere and Environment Young Scientist Prize and has been selected as a core member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for fundamental and original research positions. She serves as a young editorial board member for journals such as "Glaciology and Geocryology," "Plateau Meteorology," and "Research in Cold and Arid Regions." Zhong has published over fifty academic papers in journals including The Cryosphere, Journal of Climate, and Science of the Total Environment, and has contributed to two monographs and one advisory review report for the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
