Title: Improvements of Tibetan Plateau Land Surface Process Models Based on Observations and Validation of Remote Sensing Products

Expert Profile: Chen Yingying is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the head of the Yushu Alpine Wetland Ecological Environment Comprehensive Observation and Research Station. His main research focuses on hydrometeorological observations and analysis in alpine regions using IoT technology. He has established an encrypted observation network of soil moisture, soil temperature and precipitation on the Tibetan Plateau that matches modeling and remote sensing scales to support modeling and remote sensing. He has published over 60 SCI papers, with 5 selected as ESI highly cited papers, and has been cited over 4800 times. He holds 2 authorized invention patents and serves as an editorial board member of the journal "Scientia Geographica Sinica". He has led more than 10 projects, including key national research and development projects and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation.
