To promote inter-school cooperation and student exchanges, some students from several colleges of Lanzhou University went to France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan separately to carry out educational exchange activities.
From November 26 to December 3, 2019, of Earth and Environmental Sciences, participated in consultation meetings of studying abroad held in Thailand and Vietnam and went to visit the Confucius Institute at the Prince Songkhla University in Thailand. From November 26 to 30, the students from Lanzhou University were invited to participate in the 6th China-Japan Education Exchange Conference, and conducted exchanges with Kansai University Alliance, Kyoto University Alliance, Japan-China Cultural Exchange Center, and Japanese universities.
From November 17 to 27, students participated in the "Studying Abroad in China" and "Going Abroad" exhibitions in Europe hosted in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. With the delegation of the Ministry of Education, students visited Ecole Polytechnique ParisTech, University Amsterdam, and Universiteit Brussel. The head of the School of International Cultural Exchange was invited to participate in the "Sino-Dutch Higher Education Seminar" and made an exchange speech.
It is reported that 50 domestic colleges and universities participated in the mentioned above activities, which not only promoted exchanges between Chinese and foreign higher education circles but also strengthened the influence of Chinese higher education.
